| Japanese Kitchen is a family-run business established in 2003.
We formed Japanese Kitchen Ltd as we wanted to create authentic tasting Japanese dishes at home, but struggled to find the necessary ingredients in UK supermarkets.
Starting out from a small shop in Putney, South-West London, we rapidly grew and with the development of our online store soon established us as a leading retailer of quality Japanese foods in the UK.
In 2007 we decided to put all our efforts into expanding our online presence and closed our London store. This decision also coincided with a move to the Gloucestershire countryside where we now operate Japanese Kitchen.
Our online shop now contains hundreds of food items plus an expanding range of utensils, cookware and other Japanese themed products. Japanese food enthusiasts will find here all the essential ingredients of Japanese cooking including Mirin, Miso, Japanese Noodles, Pickled Ginger, Green Teas, Rice Crackers, Seaweeds, Soy sauces, Wasabi, Sushi ingredients, Tempura, Panko breadcrumbs and so much more...

Maybe you want to make your own sushi…you can buy great sushi kits and authentic ingredients from us.
In our Japanese Cookware department you can also purchase lacquer ware Bento boxes, miso bowls, Japanese chopsticks & sushi utensils.
All our products are available to buy through our secure online store or by phone. We deliver throughout the UK & most of Europe via our couriers (Royal Mail and Parcelforce).
We do not deliver outside the EU.
