Clearspring Arame seaweed grows wild along Japan's rocky Pacific coast. The young, wide-leaved plants are hand harvested in late summer, simmered all day in their own juices, then cut into thin strips and naturally sun-dried.

Using Arame Seaweed
Arame's sweet, delicate flavour males it an excellent choice for introducing sea vegetables into your daily diet.
To prepare, soak Arame in cool water for 10-15minutes (it will double in volume). Drain well and rinse briefly.
Arame seaweed makes an ideal side dish sauteed with tofu and sweets vegetables, such as onions and carrots.
